Chamaethamnion pocockiae R.E.Norris, 1988

Type locality: Palm Beach, near Port Edward, Natal, South Africa. Holotype: I. Harper 244; v.1982; NU 3911.

Named for Mary Agard Pocock (1886-1977), South African phycologist.
