Notes

edit

Yonekura retains Chamaele and C. decumbens even after Zakharova et al. (2012); he refutes Downie et al. (2010)'s placement of the genera Aegopodium and Chamaele together under the tribe Careae in terms of morphological similarity of the latter with Pternopetalum, which both he and Zakharova et al. place under Acronema Clade. However, the whole Acronema Clade, including Pternopetalum has recently been placed in Scandiceae, but not allocated to tribes. Chamaele was not assessed and so should remain in Aegopodium on phylogenetic grounds. See also Ohashi & Ohashi (2022)
