• Type locality: Dapdap, Siquijor, Philippines (9º13'21"N, 123º29'05"E).
• Holotype: F. Leliaert; 16 September 2007; epiphytic on Chaetomorpha vieillardii, shallow subtidal (1-3 m deep); GENT; GENT-FL1136a. Isotype: Herbarium of Silliman University Marine Laboratory, Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines.
