Name

edit

Quadrella gonaivensis (Helwig) Hutch., Gen. Fl. Pl. 2: 308 (1967).

  • Type locality: "Peninsula sept.-occidentalis ad viam inter Les Gonaïves et Hatte-Rocher prope mangrove communis," Haiti
  • Typus: E. Ekman 8483 (Holotype: B; fragment WIS, Isotypes: GH, IJ, US).
    • Iltis & Cornejo refers to it as a holotype in one paper and a lectotype in the other. They also spell the epithet "gonaievensis",but there does not seem to be any justification for such an idiosyncratic correction.
