Caloplaca fissurata Wetmore, 2009


Type location: MEXICO. Baja California Sur: Peninsula Vizcaino, along road to Bahía Tortugas, 152 km W of Rte 1, 27o38'N, 114o32'W; on Pleistocen alluvial deposits, on mudstone; 30 Dec 1990, T. H. Nash 29607 (ASU, holotype; GZU, LD, MEXU, MIN, isotypes).

Ecology and distribution: On calcareous rock. Known only from Baja California and Baja California Sur.
