Name
editBuchanania sessifolia Blume, Mus. Bot. 1: 184 (1850)
- Note: Originally published with the specific epithet sessifolia which Blume used also in writing on authentic collections. Miquel in Fl. Ind. Bat. 1, 2, 1859: 637 altered it into a better Latin word sessilifolia (Ding Hou 1978: 5) and many authors have employed it. However, Ding Hou judged that the original spelling sessifolia was retained in view of the ICBN at that time (ed. 1972, Art. 73). Compare also the corresponding ICN (ed. 2017, Art. 60).
