• Type locality: I. María Magdalena, Las Tres Marías, Nayarit, Mexico. (dredged from 5.5–9.0 metres’ depth at sta. 971 near I. María Magdalena).
• Holotype: W.R. Taylor #39-665; 1939-05-09; Hancock Foundation.
