• Type locality: Wistari Reef, Capricorn Group, souther Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia.
• Holotype: K.R. Dixon & N. Yee; 2004-11-17; on coral debris and shellgrit sand in the channel floor off the N end of the reef, 34 m depth; MELU; KA-00295.
