• Type locality: Madagascar. [Northwest.]

Note:

This name had been once included in the synonymy of Breonia citrifolia (Poir.) Ridsdale, Blumea 22(3): 545 (1975) [= B. chinensis Lam. Capuron], but was reinstated by Razafimandimbison (2002: 29).
