Notes edit

Perrot (1907: 160) also cited Tieghemella africana Pierre as a synonym of these taxa, but this treatment has been judged to be an error by Mouly & al. (2010). Note that synonymy given by Perrot also included Bassia toxisperma Raoul and Tieghemella jollyana Pierre.
