      • Moquin misspelled the type collector's name as "Gardn." instead of Gordon and coined the epithet "gardneri". Hooker corrected the epithet to "gordoni." J. McNeill et al. (Taxon 32(4): 554. 1983) argued that "gardneri" is neither a typographical nor an orthographical error, and rejected Hooker's correction.
