Vanda hienii (Aver. & V.C.Nguyen) R.Rice, Introd. Austral. New Zealand Bulbophyllum Vandaceous Orchids 73 (2019).

• Type locality: Vietnam, Dak Lak province, M’Drak district, Chu Mu Mt., evergreen forest at elevation about 1200 m a.s.l.
• Holotype: 10 August 2017, N.V. Canh et al., AL 331, LE, LE 01055039.
