Diagnosis: Arthotheliopsis serusiauxii similis sed setis cinereis minoribus et hyphophoris minoribus differt.

Type: U.S.A. Florida. Highlands Co.: Archbold Biological Station, on Old SR 8, W boundary fire lane of SE Tract, T.38S., R.30E, S.8, SE1/4 NW1/4, 27^o09'N, 81^o20' W, fence posts and adjacent oak-palmetto scrub, on oak twigs, 26 Mar 1998, Buck 33702 (NY, holotype)
