• Type locality: Cathedral Rock, off the south shore of Bermuda (32º20'31.1"N, 64º39'24.2"W), western Atlantic Ocean.
• Holotype: [DNA0365]: CWS-10-24-5; 2010-08-23; on a shaded horizontal rock at 17 m depth. UNB. Isotypes: MICH [DNA0367], Herb. CWS.
