Type: H. Perrier de la Bâthie 14465 ♂ et ♀ (February 1929; Holotype: P [P00088709^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]; Isotypes: P {P00088710^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, P00221362^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}}).
- Note: The author notes that '[a]nother sheet, Perrier de la Bâthie 14465 ♂ (P) must be considered as a paratype.'
Type locality: Madagascar. Andringitra Massif, brousse éricoïde vers 2600 m.
