- Type locality: Napoli, Italy.
- Type: on Derbesia [= Pedobesia] lamourouxii; KIEL. lectotypified by Burrows (1991: 113): original illustration (Reinke, 1879, fig. 6).
- Epitype: designated (by Nielsen et al. 2013: 53): C: Cat 2456 (dried material of isolate RN 275478).
