Type locality: “Crescit in clivis arenosis per planititiem, quae inde a Danubio per Comitatum Pesthiensem ad Tibiscum [Tisza river] extenditur.”
Lectotype (designated by Danihelka 2001: 99): specimen no. 26251/724 from Waldstein collection in PR, first plant from the left, no locality indicated.
