Hello, and welcome. Please upload images on Wiki commons (If they fit the copyrights you can use there). No uploading on wikispecies please. --Kempm 19:54, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry, I'll delete the images :) Deleting is a capability only special users have. --Kempm 20:22, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Tanbja, thank you for adding the nice images again. Do not forget to add the correct license tag to the images. I noticed a few don't have such a tag, if it is omitted the images will be deleted by someone in a week or 2, which would be a waste of your time. --Kempm 08:15, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

If the images were created under the same license you can add the following:

== Licensing == {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} --Kempm 08:17, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the information... I think I fixed the problem. I was also wondering, on the species page, when I created the taxonavigation for each species it clumped all of the taxonomic information into a paragraph rather than a column like it is now. How do you get the page to come out without it all clumping up in paragraph format? Also is there any other information I should add to the species page as they exist now? Thanks --Tambja

Wikispecies has a manual at Help:Contents. That should answer most of your questions. If you look in for example Fishbase you will find a lot of information you can use here on wikispecies. What we really need on every page, is a reference. Take a look at Panthera tigris for an example of a good page. If you still have questions after that, I'd be very happy to answer them. --Kempm 08:01, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

100,000 edit

The 100,000 article mark is just around the corner. Please consider stating your preference for a celebration logo on this page. Additional logo proposals are also very welcome. Thanks. Lycaon 09:03, 20 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

New Hydrolagus template edit

Just an FYI, I created a template: {{Hydrolagus}} so for any new pages you create (or edit), you can replace this text:

{{Chimaeridae}}
Genus: ''Hydrolagus''<br>

with just: {{Hydrolagus}}. --Georgeryp 21:24, 9 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Minor Reference section changes edit

Just letting you know about two minor changes here to follow the Help:Reference section guidelines. --Georgeryp 00:06, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Vernacular and Synonyms sections edit

Please note these changes to Deania calcea - mainly that the "Vernacular names" section is below the reference section and the synonyms section is a level 3 (===), not level 2 (==) subheading - as described in How a taxon page content should be structured. --Georgeryp 00:22, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
