Talk:Prototheria

Since Monotremata is the only order in the subclass Prototheria, it is somewhat redundant. However, Prototheria is often used in contrast to the two other subclasses, Marsupialia and Placentalia (or, in more modern scientific terms, Metatheria and Eutheria).
