Pristolepis marginata Jerdon, 1849

Neotype: ZSI FF 4935, 8 ex, 82.0–103.0 mm SL, Valloorkkavu, Mananthavady River, Wayanad, keala, India, Coll. Mathews Plamoottil, 20.03.13.

Type locality: Marantoddy River, flowing into the Cauvery; Cotiaddy River, north Malabar; near Canote, India.
