Notes

edit

Although Lewis attributes basionym authority to Wallich (Cat. no. 1294 (1829), nom. nud.), the true specimen collector is Wight (note that the correct Wallich's no. 1294 specimen is Campanula dehiscens). Hedyotis latifolia Dalzell, Hooker's J. Bot. Kew Gard. Misc. 2: 133 (1850), nom. illeg., which Hooker and Lewis include, is now considered synonymous with Neanotis latifolia Deb & Ratna Dutta.
