Yaoshania pachychilus (Chen, 1980)

  • Syntypes: Mus. Inst. Hydrobiol. Acad. Sinica (7).
  • Type locality: Mountain stream of West River, Guangxi Province, China.
  • Etymology: the specific epithet is a combination from the Greek pachys (= thick), and cheilos (= lip); in reference to the enlarged lip lamina of this species, and yaoshania: named from Dayaoshan, the mountain from where the type species was discovered.
