Autopatroller edit

Dear Sobreira, You have been granted autopatrolled user rights, which may be granted to experienced Wikispecies users who have demonstrated an understanding of Wikispecies policies and guidelines. In addition to what registered users can do, autopatrollers can have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (autopatrol). The autopatrol user right is intended to reduce the workload of new page patrollers and causes pages created by autopatrolled users to be automatically marked as patrolled. For more information, read Wikispecies:Autopatrollers.

  This user has autopatrolled rights on Wikispecies. (verify)

As an autopatroller you may use the autopatroller user box on your user page. That is of course optional, but if you like it you can copy and paste the following code on your user page: {{User Autopatroller}}

Please sign edits on talk pages and the Village Pump edit

Thank you for your valuable edits, but please remember you should sign your messages by ending them with four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your user name and a timestamp to your messages, which makes it easier for other users to follow the discussion and address your comments in a proper way. Please note that signing is normally done on talk pages only, not on conjointly written Wikispecies articles regarding species, genera, etc. Best regards, Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 00:47, 13 February 2016 (UTC).Reply

taxonav edit

Please use the taxonav template ONLY for the level of ONE ABOVE familia! (e.g. Superfamilia); otherwise double taxonav in a single sequence will give errors. Please remove the taxonav from any other level. In the past this caused us many problems. Mariusm (talk) 10:01, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Join discussions edit

At the water pump is presently discussed two topics;

1.) is to follow a previous consensus and change all [[BASEPAGENAME]] into [[susbt:BASEPAGENAME]], something which already has started.

2.) is what to do with the Category: <<taxon name>> (<<any country>>) files created by Stephen Thorpe. Some 5 000 have so far been moved together at Candidates for speedy deletion, but concearn has been objected, that some of those files may be useful, in all, or that parts should be transfered somewhere, before a major mass delete. Please join the discussion at pump and take part in shaping a consensus.

Patroller? edit

Dear, Sobreira! Would you accept to be a Patroller on Wikispecies? Wikispecies need more Patrollers and presently there is only 36 out of 150 active users.
Please see Patrollers for information about patrollers rights. If you are positive, I can nominate you on the requests for patroller rights on your behalf.

  • @Dan Koehl: I'm not sure of what consists that on, I would need some time to get informed. There are two issues on me being patroller. 1st, I used to use WSpecies for work and then after getting info I revised all Galician bird species one by one. It's not that way any more. 2nd, I cannot (and shouldn't) commit to periodical tasks I cannot perform. I know myself: I used to be an active user of GL:wiki, and since the day I was proposed and accepted as admin, my edits and visits dropped to almost zero until it was reverted for non-activity. Thanks for the confidence, anyway. Sobreira ►〓 (parlez) 15:18, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
