- Neotype: KU 273756. [designated by Domínguez & Díaz (2011: 197, 199).
- Type locality: “America”, restricted to “Bahamas islands” by Thomas (1989: 411), and fixed by neotype designation as “Eleuthera Island (Bahamas)” by Domínguez & Díaz (2011: 197).
