  • Lectotype: BMNH 1910.3.18.77, collected by J.S. Gardiner in 1908. [designated by Gerlach & Willi (2002: 448)]
  • Type locality: “Mahé: Morne Pilot, 2700 ft.” and “Silhouette: highest jungle”, restricted by lectotype designation to “Silhouette: highest jungle” by Gerlach & Willi (2002: 448).
