Description
English: Figs. 9-11. Zosterocarpus abyssicolus. Fig. 9, portion of a branch to show the branchlets, the young "sporangial" cells, and beginning gametangium development. Fig. 10, the tip portion of a branch to show the acute apex, the intercalary growth zones, and one of the yellow "sporangial" cells. Fig. 11, forks of two larger branches to show the character of the junction, and a well-developed gametangial zone, x 245. I. Santa Maria.
