Summary

Description

Talipariti tiliaceum, more often known as Hibiscus tiliaceus (arguing synonym). This tree is native to the shores of the Pacific and Indian oceans, so it can be found in many tropical and subtropical countries. Therefore it has many common names: Beach Hibiscus, Sea Hibiscus, Cottonwood, Mahoe, Hawaiian tree hibiscus.... GRIN

It is relative to well known Hibiscus shrubs, but it grows as a tree (different foliage as well), and I believe it should be in the separate genera, as per GRIN taxomony.

I wonder it there are hybrids between Hibiscus and Talipariti genus.
