Little golden stars, best observed while tying your shoelaces. This one had sugar sand grains splashed upon it from the rain. According to the IRC, this species produced yellow flowers on the east coast of Florida and white flowers on the west. It is endemic to Florida and is a member of the Boraginaceae (forget-me-not) family. Pollinators love it.
