Description
English: Lucinoma asapheus (Bivalvia: Protobranchia: Lucinoida) from the Mercator Mud Volcano in the Gulf of Cadiz (Eastern Atlatnic).
  • AD – holotype specimen: aa d – angle of divergence of anterior adductor scar, aa l – length of anterior adductor scar;
  • E – an aberrant specimen;
  • F – a small specimen;
  • GH – two specimens showing variation in tumidity;
  • I – the inhalant siphon.
