Description

A mainly Costa Rican species, known as Tacaco Cimarron. Edible after boiling.

In context at www.dixpix.ca/meso_america/Flora/cucurbit/index.html "The Tacaco Cimarron can apparently be boiled and eaten. They are found in Costa Rica and perhaps more widely. There seems some confusion between Sechium tacaco and the more widespread Sechium pittieri."
