Anolis oculatus montanus Lazell, 1962


English: Male of the mountain subspecies of the local endemic anole near to Syndicate Waterfall, Dominica, W.I.
All of the Caribbean islands have one or more endemic anoles. Dominica has only one, but the four subspecies have a strikingly different appearance. This is the interior uplands subspecies.
Français : Un Anoli (Anolis oculatus) mâle. Photo prise près de Syndicate Waterfall, en Dominique. Chaque île des caraïbes possède une ou plusieurs espèces endémiques d'anolis. La Dominique n'en possède qu'une, mais avec quatre sous-espèces très différentes. Ici, la sous-espèce des hautes terres de l'intérieur.
