Note: Genus incertae sedis has not been analysed for affiliation to subfamily or tribe. Herbarium specimen in RGKew and others. Additionally see this caveat from Tropicos - Genus described with two species names listed, Fergusonia zeylanica Hook. f., nom. superfl. illeg., and Fergustonia thwaitesii Hook.f., nom. nud.; but only one species treated, and apparently the species was first going to be named F. thwaitesii and the article given that title, then the name was changed to F. zeylanica but the title of the article was overlooked in the revisions. !CMT & REG 2012
