Philothamnus irregularis (Leach, 1819) [conserved name]

  • Holotype: BMNH 1965.641, collected by T.E. Bowdich between April 1817–October 1818.
  • Type locality: “Fantee [=Fanti]”, Ghana.
  • Placed on the Official List of Specific Names in Zoology by Opinion 328 (1955: 301).
