Type location: THAILAND. Nakhon Sri Thammarat Province: Khao Lung National Park, 8o43'N, 99o41'E, 170 m, tropical rain forest, 15 Feb 2006, Papong 4199 (KKU, holotype). Paratypes: Same locality and date, Papong 3651 (RAMK), 3717 (F). Surat Thani Province: Khao Sok National Park, 8o55'N, 98o31'E, 70 m, tropical rain forest, 14 Feb 2006, Papong 5413 (KKU).

Ecology and distribution: On living leaves of vascular plants in lowland to submontane rain forest; thus far known from Thailand only.

Etymology: Named after the type locality.
