Lectotype (designated by Uotila in Ann. Bot. Fennici 30: 191, 1993): Pakistan: Kurram, Kurrum Valley, Shálozán, Aug. 1879, J.E.T. Aitchison 980. Lectotype: G. Isolectotypes: C, FI, G-BOIS, K, S.

Considered as synonym of Chenopodium bryoniifolium by Hassler 2018, but as separate species in Flora of Pakistan and Flora of China.
