  • Type: Yeelirrie Station near Albion Downs Station, south-east Snakebore population, Project Area A, Western Australia, 16 April 2010, K.A. Shepherd, C. Ringrose & B. Graham KS 1406. Holotype: PERTH 08616493, Isotypes: CANB, K, MEL.
  • Etymology: "The epithet is derived from Yeelirrie Station, the pastoral lease on which the species is found, and is used as a noun in apposition."
