Typus: Locus: Spain, province of Málaga, in deep cavity of NW facing carstic limestone rocks, just above the road that leads from Benaoján to the "Cueva de la Pileta", ca. 2.5 km S of Benaoján, ca. 700 m, 18.4.1988, W. Bennert, H. Rasbach & K. Rasbach (Holotype: B, isotypes: single fronds in the herbaria of Bennert, Rasbach (sub no. 625) and Reichstein).
