Type locality: Trano Passage, Strict, Nature Reserve No 9, „Tsingy de Bemaraha“, 18° 42‘ S, 44° 43‘ E, 90 m a.s.l. (= elevation), Antsalova Fivondranana, Mahajanga Province, Madagascar.
